Our 4th Annual Broadcasters Banquet
On Friday, April 25, we will celebrate our 16th year of broadcasting the Old Time Gospel of Jesus Christ with a Banquet recognizing those who have partnered with us during the past year in sending out the message over the air waves.
At these Banquets, we have established a tradition of honoring some men and women who have played a great part in preserving Old Time Gospel preaching and had a tremendous impact on the lives of many people, including my own. The Bible says in I Timothy 5:17, “Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor…”. In previous years, it has been our privilege to honor Dr. John Hull, Dr. Garland Odom, Bro. C. L. Roach, Bro. Roy H. Smith, Bro. Ralph Tapley, Bro. Bob and Sis. Joan Tyson, Dr. Charles Williams, and Bro. Horace Wilson.
This year we will honor two more men who have influenced generations of people in this area; Bro. Ernie Dodd and Bro. Roy Parmer. I look forward to spending some time with Bro. Ernie and Bro. Roy’s son, and my long time friend Bro. Vermon Parmer, learning more about their ministries to pass along at the Banquet.

What’s New With WDCY, WDPC, And WNEA
A New On-Air Computer—A few weeks ago, our eight year old on-air computer developed an illness, which we feared would be terminal! It was born in 2000, when we added WNEA Newnan, and, by computer standards, was quite elderly. As symptoms grew worse, we knew that it was not “long for this world”. As the Bible said concerning David, “…after he served his generation… he “fell on sleep.” But, as God planned before the foundation of the world, another generation always rises up to carry on his work. A new computer was born a few weeks ago (after we paid $700), and was educated with the latest technology. It is now fulfilling its calling of carrying the Gospel message on deeper into the 21st century while we await the soon return of the Lord Jesus.
Morning Traffic Information Before And After Our Morning Prayer Time—We want you to pray with and for us during our Prayer Time between 7:50 and 8:00 A. M. each weekday morning! We don’t want you to have to switch to a secular station to find out about traffic. Therefore, we have expanded our traffic info to include I-20, I-85, I-285, and surface streets on the west side of Atlanta.
