New Broadcast—We are delighted to have the Revival Time Broadcast with Dr. Jack Trieber on all three stations Monday-Friday at 9:00 A. M. Dr. Trieber’s church, North Valley Baptist Church, is located in the Silicon Valley in California. He has been heard once each week for several years on our 10:00 A. M. and 1:00 P. M. full length messages. His ministry is having great influence all over America.
New Broadcast—We would also like to welcome the New Freedom Baptist Church Broadcast with Pastor Jimmy Shoemaker on WDPC Dallas each Monday at 12:00 P. M. New Freedom is located in the Yorkville community of Paulding County, just off Highway 101.
New Sponsor—We are also glad to have H & C Services as a new sponsor. Bro. Lloyd Lathem installs and services heating and air conditioning equipment for residences and businesses.
New Sponsor/Old Friend—We welcome back Doyce Powell and DJ & M Enterprises. Doyce restores tile floors for churches, businesses, and residences.
Programming Note—The Obituary Hour on WDCY, and the Bulletin Board/Garage Sale on WDPC and WNEA have been moved to 9:15 A. M. to allow us to begin airing Dr. Trieber’s broadcast mentioned above.
Equipment on Order—We have placed an order for the $35,960 piece of equipment needed to increase the power on WDPC Dallas, as recently authorized by the FCC.
Delivery is expected in late May, and the engineers will require a few weeks to install and certify the system. We realistically expect to “throw the switch” by July 1.

Gift Certificates To Fit The Occasion—We now have Gift Certificates available in any amount for any occasion. Gift cards and certificates have become a very popular idea. A gift certificate combined with a beautiful KJV greeting card can make a very nice gift.
Time To Begin Planning For Vacation Bible School—Come by and order a “starter kit” for any one of several KJV Vacation Bible School programs. An inexpensive “starter kit” will have a sample of every item you need for the entire program, as well as supplementary support items that are available. This should help you plan your program and the number of classes you will offer. As the time approaches and you have a better idea of how many young people will attend, it will be a simple matter to order exactly what you need.
Free Books—We have some good used books that have been donated to the bookstore that are available on a first come, first serve basis.
Free CD’s—We have “cleaned house” on our Southern Gospel compilation CD’s in the radio station. Several times each year, the recording companies send us CD’s with their new releases. We decided to clear out several years of CD’s from our shelves. Come by and see if any of your favorites are available.
New Books From Landmark Press—We have several new titles, including two books about the KJV Bible entitled Purified Seven Times and Things That Are Different Are Not The Same.
A New Idea—Bro. Clay Pawley, pastor of Word of Life Baptist Church in Smyrna, recently ordered a Sword of the Lord display for his church. These attractive, cardboard floor displays will each hold 30 of the doctrinal pamphlets published by the Sword. Most of these pamphlets were written by John R. Rice and Curtis Hutson. There are about 100 titles available covering such topics as many Biblical doctrines, soulwinning, home and marriage, false cults, smoking, drugs, adultery, gambling, etc. The displays are $15.00 and the pamphlets are 54 cents each.
PRAISE THE LORD FOR
THE CHALLENGE OF READING THROUGH THE BIBLE!
We dare you! We double dog dare you to read through the Bible in a year’s time. In fact, we not only double dog dare you, we will give you special recognition and a gift once you have completed it! Just give us a call at 770-920-1520, or e-mail us at kingsradio@bellsouth.net, and advise us of your intent to read through the Bible over the next year. Choose any date you wish, and plan to finish 52 weeks later.
The reason people sometimes do not make commitments is because of a fear of failure. I want to confess to you that my whole life has been a series of failures! However, “each time I find
myself laying flat on my face, I just pick myself up and get back in the race.” Praise the Lord that enough successes have come along the way to encourage me to keep on keeping on. Anyone who commits to read the Bible is going to be a winner everytime they read a verse! I hope you won’t let fear of failure keep you from making the attempt.
Reading through the Bible is easier now than it has ever been. Here are some ideas that might help you read, or listen, to the entire Bible in a year.
1. We publish a monthly reading schedule in each of these Newsletters. Just follow it, and it will take you through the Bible in 365 days.
2. We read the Bible on all three radio stations each day at 8:00 A. M. EST. Also, we have Bible reading on the Internet each day at 8:00 A. M., 4:00 P. M., and 12:00 A. M.
3. The Christian Supply Outlet next door to our studios in Douglasville has the Bible on CD for your car, DVD for your TV or computer, and MP3 for your IPOD.
We have already received notification from a number of listeners of their intent to read through the Bible with us. Also, several churches are encouraging their members to get more into the Word this year. A deacon at one church is considering purchasing 20 Large Print Scofield Bibles to encourage his fellow
church members to read.
The Word of God is “quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword” (Hebrews 4:12). It will increase your faith (Romans 10:17). Psalm 119, the longest chapter in the Bible, has 176 verses, with almost every verse speaking of our need for the Scriptures, and what God will do for us through them.
Praise the Lord for this challenge: To read through the Bible in the next year!
